Login to your Posterous account
Visit the login page of Posterous and login to your account.
Click on Backup button at Top right of the page
On the top right corner of the page click on Backup button and you will start to export your blog posts and media.
Click on Request Backup
Posterous asks you to request for backup. Just click on Request backup button as in picture.
Enter Captcha and Start Backup
For some security reasons you need to enter Captcha, after entering correct Captcha click on Start backup.
Get Backup direct to your Mail
Posterous will send your downloadable backup file to your email address(the email address you used to login with posterous).
